Housefull 3 Review

Watched Housefull 3 last Sunday. I survived will you? Too much of junk. Avoid it. It all ends with a predictably pointless climax that just cannot arrive quickly enough. For this third assault on the senses, the surgical removal of the brain is needed, not temporarily switching it off.

All AliExpress Orders Being Blocked at Karachi Port

For the past two months or more, items ordered from AliExpress have failed to deliver. Whenever tracking information is available, the items get lost after they have arrived at the Karachi port.
All items ordered through AliExpress are handled by the shipping company of origin, until they reach Pakistan. Once packages reach Pakistan, they go through customs clearance. Customs officers have the authority to open the packages and repack them if there’s any doubt regarding the item’s description. The packages are then forwarded to Pakistan Post, which delivers the package to the buyer.
However, this process is being handicapped by someone. The packages are getting misplaced as soon as they get to Karachi, and the list of culprits is pretty short.
AliExpress sellers have been refunding the buyers for the time being, but if this continues any longer, we won’t be surprised if they stop shipping to Pakistan altogether. The online retailer could put Pakistan on its blacklist, or the sellers themselves might stop delivering to Pakistan.
This is unfair play and someone is guilty here. The forces behind this must be apprehended before Pakistan is shamed in front of the world yet again. It will not benefit the public, the customs, the e-commerce industry or the delivery service providers if such an instance happens and could fend off interest from international retailers like Amazon and Ebay.

Top 10 Chinese Concept Cars At 2016 Beijing Auto Show

1. Beijing Auto ArcFox-7
The ArcFox-7 is an extremely beautiful electric supercar with scissor doors. It is based on a Formula E race car, and powered by a 603 horsepower motor. The ArcoFox-7 is mainly intended to draw attention to the booming EV business of Beijing Auto, but small-series production of a track day-only car is a real possibility.
The main observable trends that emerge from these concept cars are: a move to electrics cars, steps to more daring design, and a clear up market movement, the infamously cheap Chinese cars are fast becoming a thing of the past.

2. Hongqi B-Concept
The B-Concept heralds a new beginning for Hongqi, ‘Red Flag’, the oldest and most famous Chinese automaker, best known for state limousines and parade cars. 4. Chery FV2030
The Chery FV2030 is a typical example of a truly outrageous concept car, shaped like an off-road racer with gull wing doors, huge wheels, and a fiery red paint job. Some design elements will come back on future production cars, like the chrome bar above the grille and the air inlets in the bumper.

5. Qiantu Auto K50 Roadster
China’s first drop-top electric supercar with stunning lines, a carbon fiber body, and powered by a 400 horsepower motor.  Likely the best looking Chinese car ever. The coupe version is expected to hit the market in the fall, with a price similar to the cheapest Tesla Model S. The Roadster will follow in late 2017.

6. Lingyun Two-seater
Lingyun is a company that is absolutely convinced the future lies in two-wheeled electric vehicles. 7. Haval HB-02
The HB-02 shows that the Haval brand, owned by Great Wall Motors, is going for a more daring design for its SUV lineup. Sharp creases, tiny LED lights, and a big gaping grille; the HB-02 has it all. It previews a premium compact crossover that will be launched on the Chinese car market in 2018, mainly aimed at young car buyers living in the big cities.

8. Ranz RF-EA1
The Ranz RF-EA1 is a design study for an exciting electric four-door sport sedan, with a super sleek body and eye-catching black over gold paint. ‘Ranz‘ is a brand owned by the FAW-Toyota joint venture for making cheap electric cars. However, since its inception in 2013 Ranz has failed to launch a single car. The RF-EA1 shows they are still alive.

9. Zhiche Auto SUV
The Zhiche Auto SUV is a full-electric aerodynamic four-seat coupe, loaded with technologies for connected-cars and connected-mobility, in short tech that allows a vehicle to communicate with other cars and with the wider world. The Zhiche Auto SUV is developed by a Beijing-based new-energy vehicle (NEV) company, and the production car will launch in 2017.

10. Dongfeng HUV
Dongfeng has long been looking for a credible off-road cruiser to cash into their army-vehicle fame. The HUV might be just that; a square shaped rough looking truck on large wheels with an almost straight standing windshield. The production version is expected to launch next year, powered by a decidedly petrol four-cylinder engine.

Youngest Social Entrepreneur from Pakistan

The nine year old girl never liked cluttered surroundings or dirty streets of her hometown, Sargodha. When she was only six years old, she got an idea to use newspapers bags and sell them to assist needy children. The idea popped into her mind when a shopkeeper sold her something inside a newspaper bag.
She planned to help the underprivileged orphan children from SOS village, an orphanage consisting of 14 houses with 10 children and one nanny in each one of them. Her parents helped bring the idea to reality and before they knew it, they were venturing into a social entrepreneurship project.

A Social Entrepreneur in the making

Despite being so young, she already has 3 years of social work experience. Zymal recently received the Prince Abdul Aziz Award for Children Pioneer / Ecopreneur Award in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She was also awarded TIE youngest entrepreneurship award and received a gold medal from the Federal Secretary of Education.
This little girl wants to make Sargodha a far more greener city. She wants the eco-friendly bags to have a two-fold effect by uplifting the living standard of the underprivileged people and help in decreasing pollution caused by plastic bags. The 9 year old has every intention of providing better education and health facilities for other kids who might otherwise find such services to be unaffordable.
Those willing to help Zymal with her project against illiteracy, poverty and pollution can make and sell similar bags in new and unique styles. More information is available at the Zee Bags Facebook page.

Even Sindh Rangers Aren’t Spared by ‘Hospital Wali Asma’

It is as sad as it gets. Sindh Rangers launched their WhatsApp Hotline yesterday. Not even 24 hours have passed since the launch of the service and people have started misusing it already.
Rangers Madadgar helpline has become victim to the “Hospital wali Asma” (Saba in this case). Most of us have seen spam messages from unknown numbers asking for some immediate mobile balance for the needy Asma in the hospital.
Pakistani public thinks it’s fun to misuse whatever services they get for the sake of a little laugh. Every digital service or hotline launched in Pakistan has to go through the same pathetic pranks. People make funny requests or stupid complaints teasing the operators, wasting their time and sometimes causing lethal response delays. While someone is busy joking, somebody else might be going through a life-threatening situation. The people in need of real help cannot get it in time because the lines are busy thanks to prank calls.
It is utterly disgusting that Pakistani public finds such things funny. Those who are involved in such pranks, we would like to say that you are playing with other people’s lives. Have some decency and leave the emergency services alone.
Pranksters have been using the WhatsApp hotline to prank Rangers’ operators. Some of the pranks over the past 24 hours can be seen below:

These images might be faked but let’s not pretend this isn’t exactly what happens on public helplines and toll free numbers.

Fan Movie: Review

The first hour somewhat does justice to the genre. However, the plot starts to fall apart in the second half, where all they do is chase each other across continents. The end was illogical. Every actor longs for acting immortality while every fan loves to live the fantasy life of their favourite actor.
Shah Rukh Khan fans all over the world can only hope that this film is the starting point for a wiser selection of roles from the actor in the near future, because when allowed to truly showcase his talents, he is able to mesmerise you like no other. Casting himself in both roles, Khan could have intended a complex satire of celebrity narcissism or he could just be, well, guilty of a fair bit of celebrity narcissism himself. Either way, it’s outrageous and enjoyably absurd.

Read This Before Buying a 3G Phone, or it May Simply Not Work in Pakistan!

When buying a smartphone, brand, price, specs, value for money and resale price are only few of the criteria that go through the mind of a potential buyer. One troublesome omission from that list is frequency bands which, to be fair, traditionally weren’t an issue but have become one with the introduction of 3G and 4G in the country.

Why Frequency Band Really Matters?

Well, the selection of smartphones available at online stores has increased dramatically and many stores are offering imported handsets from foreign markets that offer better value for money. However, they are failing to mention their 3G/4G bands and are selling smartphones that don’t work in Pakistan.
In simpler words, there are bands (frequencies) for 3G and 4G technologies — just like radio frequencies — and operators in Pakistan operate their 3G networks in 2100Mhz band only. Now 3G smartphones that doesn’t offer 3G network compatibility in 2100 band will simply not work in Pakistan.

Restaurant review: LALE-I-RUMI- A Big Disappointment

Took my friends to a Turkish restaurant, LALE-I-RUMI for dinner located at Clifton area. We went there with great expectations. 12 people ordered 10 dishes. It was our first time there & definitely the last! Starter portion sizes were ridiculously small for the price. One skewer of Kabab for 1200 rupees. We expected a few to share. You should get what you pay for. What a joke! More like a weather-spoon meal. Totally ruined our night! Waste of time. Nothing was special in terms of taste. That place was so outrageously priced. Never going again! High prices do NOT equate to high quality. Small place with poor seating. Big disappointment! I honestly could not find anything in their selection that was flavourful or tasty. It is sad that the only tasty item was ketchup. LALE-I-RUMI, if you don't improve your food, you will be just a legend with an empty building. If I were to objectively evaluate the monetary value of the things we ate, we probably have eaten about PKR 200 each. Extremely expensive meals, and terrible substandard food. 1200 for a SKEWER we felt like we have been robbed but most of the reviewers on Swot group went there for dinner where they have to spend on average 2000 per person for such terrible meals. I could guess exactly how they felt like after they had one bite of their meal the feeling must not be just a robbery like we felt, they must have felt that they experienced an aggravated burglary. Will never go back to this restaurant again in my lifetime. Most overrated restaurant in Clifton, with the meals most expensive, and terribly overpriced for its substandard quality.

Advice to others:
Never go here and if you don't believe me, read reviews. Most of them are extremely negative, there are few positive reviews. Those people are likely to be the restaurant's owners themselves, their relatives, or perhaps their lenders, hoping desperately that this restaurant can repay the money they owe.
Advice to the owner:
Stop relying on your restaurant's past reputation which is now long gone. Start visiting other restaurants in this city and you will realize that other places provide food with much higher quality at the price only a fraction of what you charge.

Qandeel Baloch Pleads for Indian Citizenship

This post is dedicated to the newest edition to the list of people Pakistanis ‘love to hate’. Yes, my beloved readers, I am talking about the very talented ‘Qandeel Baloch’. I am sure we all are aware of who she is and are following her on Facebook but for people who don’t, let me introduce this very distinct species of Female to you, you would thank me later trust me!

Qandeel Baloch is a true entertainer and you know what the best part is,  she doesn't have to work too hard on it. It just comes off naturally.

There is always something generic about the videos that she uploads; they are all in a lying position, she put on gallons of Mascara and is usually wearing the same clothes and the headdress and she is always wearing these weird lipstick shades, always. Also, the fake angraizi accent is as obvious as the talent within her.

Internet star Qandeel Baloch has pleaded for Indian citizenship. In her latest tweet, the model has said she is ‘very disappointed from Pakistan’. Baloch has hashtagged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a journalist Puneet Shukla in her tweet.

Why the internet diva is upset from Pakistan is probably because of the criticism she received on vowing to strip dance at the victory of Pakistani team and releasing a teaser during the India-Pakistan clash.

The star faced severe backlash on social media. Baloch has been caught in controversies several times in the past for her bold videos and statements.

The actor is getting popularity across the border, compelling Indian media and celebrities to talk about her. She is referred to as ‘Pakistan’s Poonam Pandey’ in India. The actor has recently been supported by singer Sonu Nigam.

The controversial Qandeel Baloch is never out of the limelight.  This time, Qandeel has received Indian support from renowned singer Sonu Nigam. Sonu is appreciating the singer/actress’ courage and intelligence in grabbing the maximum amount of attention. While many would scratch their heads over Sonu’s latest tweet, one thing is definitely for certain; everyone IS talking about Qandeel.

https://twitter.com/sonunigam/status/710298201794818048

There’s no one denying Qandeel Baloch surely knows how to stay in news and this tweet of hers is just another step to fame.
