2 States Movie I watched it and I had high expectations from this movie. I have to say although it is not fully disappointing. It was slow. The movie only started becoming good after the families met. I loved the last scene of the movie. Too much emphasis has been given on Alia's acting. However, I think there should be only two people who should be credited with the best acting skills in this movie and who actually made this movie worthwhile Amrita Singh and Ronit Roy. There acting was so natural. Where Alia is concerned, she was average and lacked expressions.

Warid is seeking its chance to deploy 4G LTE network for high-speed broadband with its existing license and spectrum from 1800Mhz band that it had bought in 2004. Warid has decided to go with 4G LTE deployments in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi. If plan goes smoothly then more cities are likely to be added in future. 

Apple Co-Founder Says that Apple Should go Android

Apple’s second founder and a man known for his outspoken love of everything tech, Steve Wozniak thinks that Apple should also go Android.

He said that people are known for showering their love for Apple and they’ll flock to buy Apple’s phone in large numbers too.

There’s nothing that would keep Apple out of the Android market as a secondary phone market,” he said. “We could compete very well. People like the precious looks of stylings and manufacturing that we do in our product compared to the other Android offerings. We could play in two arenas at the same time.”

Of course, that simply sounds impossible especially it is iOS itself that makes Apple so distinctive. Wouldn’t it be a tough thing to see an Apple product crash more often?

Wozniak also doesn’t think that Apple has lost its “cool” factor just yet as the company prepares itself to introduce “new product categories” in the near future.

He remained a critic of Samsung however. “If you have something really good, don’t change it; don’t screw it up,” the lost co-founder said. “You pick up a Samsung phone and say smile and it takes a picture, but how much innovation is that? That’s just throwing in a lot of features. People don’t really choose their smartphones based on features”.

4.7 inch iPhone 6 launch expected by June 2014

Analyst claims Apple might launch iPhone 6 as early as June.

Apple is yet to confirm its smartphone plans for 2014, but already there have been a lot of rumors about the iPhones the company is expected to release this year. It should be kept in mind that only a few months back Apple launched iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C, so if the company is to follow its traditional release cycles, new smartphones won’t probably be launched before September 2014. On the other hand, Chinese analyst Sun Chyang Xu predicts that an iPhone 6 with a 4.7 inch display might be launched this June, with mass production of the device beginning in May.

Despite its larger screen size, this smartphone is said to retain the 1136×640 pixel density of the existing flagship, the iPhone 5S. Apple is actually rumored to launch two variants of the iPhone 6, one with the 5.7 inch display that will presumably offer higher resolution. It is not known for sure right now if both smartphones will come with optical imaging stabilization, a patent was recently discovered which hinted at the possibility of the next generation iPhones offering OIS. Apple holds its annual Worldwide Developers Conference in June, so these smartphones are expected to be launched at WWDC 2014, despite the fact that the company hasn’t used this forum to unveil new iPhones in a long, long time.

An iPhone with a 5.7 inch display would push this popular smartphone in the phablet category, which Apple has avoided, but seeing how the market has embraced devices with large screens, perhaps the company’s next move will be to jump on the bandwagon as well. Since its too soon to be absolutely sure, its best to take these rumors with a grain of salt.

Mobile phone services are going to be shut down in the major cities across Pakistan on 12th Rabi-ul-Awal, Eid Milad-ul-Nabi due to security concerns.

Interior Ministry is going to continue with the spree of blocking the mobile phone services on this Eid Milad-ul-nabi on the basis of security concerns. Mobile phone services shall remains suspended from 7 in the morning to 11pm in the night.

Sindh govt declares Jan 13 public holiday

KARACHI: The Sindh Government has declared 11th Rabi ul Awal (January. 13) as public holiday on account of Jashan e Milad un Nabi (PBUH) throughout the province.

All offices of the provincial government offices, autonomous, semi autonomous bodies, corporations and local councils and educational institutes will remain closed on Monday

Reported as the most downloaded app in Asia — and after its success in 23 countries worldwide the likes of Brazil, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia — the ‘Easy Taxi’ service has finally come to Pakistan.

With the high demand and lack of reliable and affordable public transportation in Pakistan, Easy Taxi is aiming to fill the gap starting with its services in Lahore and now hitting the Islamabad.

Easy Taxi itself is an app that functions both on IOS and Android that simply makes it easier for its users to order a taxi.

Users enter their pickup point on the app which detects their location and then wait for a confirmation of their booking. Users can follow the vehicle’s location in real-time as it approaches via GPS.

For the Pakistani Masses Easy Taxi Pakistan has also introduced a phone number and a 24/7 functional customer service center to cater to those clients who may not have an android or bad internet connection due to ‘EDGE’ acting up in order to retain that segment of their clientele.

Customers can also SMS the word taxi to 9900 to order their ride.

Easy Taxi  claimed that their core focus is on convenience and safety; every driver and vehicle — that is part of the Easy Taxi fleet — has gone through an admission process to ensure that it meets the standards of safety and comfort.

The firm said that all of its drivers have gone through strict background checks and the company holds documents and information of every driver so as to help in taking any required actions in the case of any incidents such as lost items or unpleasant behaviour by drivers.

Fares for Easy Taxi are reasonable. You are charged at Rs. 40 per Kilometre with additional Rs. 100 fixed charges per ride. That is, it is going to cost you around Rs. 620 for a Ride from Blue Area Islamabad to Airport.

Just to add, Rawalpindi isn’t covered yet. Easy Taxi said they are going to reach more cities, but that is going to take some time.
